Save the Cordylines damaged by last winters frost

As a seaside village, Strandhill has an awful lot of cordylines but they have been badly hit this winter. Coming into the middle of april and most people are now looking to their gardens – can you save the cordyline and have it for years to come?According to an article in last weekends Irish Times – you do have a chance. The key tips given in the article – to cut back to the point where it has not been mushed up by the frost – we’ve only seen done to just one plant in the village – in front of the Bella Vista;
While the article does warn that the work should not be done until May – guessing that anytime now should be fine.
