Help with finding a lost camera
May 30, 2009 | Leave a Comment
A reader from Belfast asked us to place a request for a camera that she lost on the first weekend in May.
It would be great for the person to get the camera itself back – particularly as the memory card had over a years worth of photos on it – birthdays, holidays & 2 weddings.
drop a line to info@strandhillonline.com if you have the camera – and we can put you directly in contact with the owner.

In Response Mr T. Carroll SE stated the following;
This project can be considered in context of 2009 Roadwork’s Programme when being considered at local area electoral meeting in February 2009.
public toilets – not sure who is wasting time here; either the councillors who presumably already know that “public toilets” have been notionally available at the sea front for the last 9 years or so and are this mischief making, or council powers that be – that deem it unimportant to ensure that signage makes the public aware of this fact….this is silly buggers stuff.
42. PUBLIC TOILETS IN STRANHILL;
Proposed by Councillor I. Henry
Seconded by Councillor D. Bree
“To ask this Council have they plans in place for public toilets in Strandhillâ€.
In Response Mr T. Carroll SE stated the following;
The toilets in the maritime centre are public toilets. At the time the maritime centre was built in Strandhill, a decision was made, and agreed by the County Council and the Community Development Association that the public toilets would be demolished in the public car park and provided instead, downstairs in the maritime centre. It was agreed that improved signage would be provided.
